Day 38

Today was another productive day. I got up around 9 and got ready for my class at 10. After lecture I went to the library to do some work. Then I headed over to Primark (a really awesome clothing store that has great prices) and looked around. I had a couple of things that I wanted to try on, but the line was long for trying on and I had to be at class in 20 minutes, so I just decided to buy the items. After paying, I walked over to class. We had to do an elevator pitch and since I was one of the two who was prepared, me and the other girl received a Cadbury chocolate bar. Woohoo for being prepared. After class I walked over to the library to meet up with someone to work on our management accounting test. We were there for about three hours, but we got most of it done so it was worth it. After that test I went to the gym for about an hour and then walked back to my flat, arriving home around 6:30. I showered, got ready and then went to a party with a bunch of people. It was with our new friends we made from London so it was fun. Then some of us came back to my flat and hung out with my flat mates and everyone else. It was a really nice night.

Day 37

Today was pretty productive. I slept in and then got up had some breakfast and then got my stuff together and headed over to the library. Spent about three hours there and got a good amount of work done. Then after that I headed over to the gym. It was packed and I debated on leaving and going back, but I knew if I did that I would have never went back, so I just stayed and did my thing. After about an hour at the gym, I walked back to my flat and took a shower. I decided I was going to straighten my hair so as I was cooking some food I let me hair air dry. I wound up cooking some eggs and potatoes. After eating and cleaning up I straightened my hair. After I was done with that I chatted on line with some friends and finished some work due for tomorrow. Brian came over and we attempted to make some cookies. As we were waiting for them to be done he called his Grandparents through Skype and I called my on the phone. I have some international pin number. It was nice to talk to them. The cookies took far too long to make and once they were done they didn’t even look like cookies. They were the shape of the pan and were rock hard. I guess that is what happens when you buy a bag of cookie mixture for a pound. I am never making those cookies again. After that failure I got ready for bed as I have class tomorrow at ten.

Day 36

Even though I went to bed at a somewhat decent time I almost missed my management accounting tutorial. I planned to get up early to do some work before the class and but I kept hitting snooze on my alarms and wound up falling back to sleep to only wake up around 8:40, having to be in town by 9 for my tutorial. I got dresses quickly and then headed out the door around 8:45ish. Remember that the walk to class is about a 15-minute walk at a normal pace. I basically was speed walking all the way to class, but I didn’t care because I made it there with a minute to spare. After class ended I went to the library to do some work and kill time in between my two classes. When the time came I got a mocha latte and then headed over to my next tutorial.

After my tutorial I went to the post office to mail home a little package and then I stopped by Morrisons to pick up some food. Then I headed back to my flat. I hung around a little bit and then went back into town for my gym induction at 5:30. After that I worked out and then came back to eat a little something and shower.

Everyone met up and then we all headed over to the Eldon. We met up with our new friends from the London trip and also hung out with my flat mates who came as well. After the Eldon closed around one, some of us went back to a friends flat to hang out. It was a fun night with everyone. 

Day 35

Today I slept a little and then got ready to meet my group for a little presentation that we have next week. We did not have our tutorial class so we figured we would use that time to get this presentation done. It did not take that long so we were in an out. After that I went over to the gym to sign up. They told me that my induction time was tomorrow at 5:30 so I would have to wait to use the gym. I must say there are some cuties that go/work at the gym. I just found my new favorite place lol.

I walked back to my flat to do some laundry and have some lunch. After that I walked back into to town to go to my lecture class. After lecture ended I cam back to my flat and uploaded pictures on my blog. I took a quick shower and then I chatted with mom and dad on skype while eating some salad. After that I went to bed kind of early.
